The India eVisa is not valid for transit. An airside connection under 24 hours at a designated airport is fine, but leaving the airport in transit requires a separate Grounded Transit Visa (GTV).

The e-Arrival Card is a declaration you file with Indian immigration before you land. It is separate from your visa — you need both.

Fill in the guided form with your passport details, the date your flight lands, your purpose of visit, the address you will stay at in India (with its state and district), your contact number and the countries you visited in the last six days. Each traveller needs their own card and their own passport.

There is nothing to upload. Immigration matches the card to the passport you present at the counter, so your name, passport number and nationality must be entered exactly as printed in it.
Pay and choose your processing speed
Pay online by credit or debit card. Every fee is itemised before you confirm, with no hidden charges. Order early enough for your chosen speed to land inside the 72-hour window immigration requires — Standard takes up to 3 business days.
We file the card and email your confirmation
We submit the card to Indian immigration within 72 hours of your arrival, as the regulations require, and email you the generated e-Arrival Card with its reference number and QR code.
Show it on arrival
Print the card or keep it on your phone, and present it with your passport at the Immigration Check Post. Your biometric details are captured at Immigration on arrival.

It is a digital arrival declaration that Indian immigration requires from foreign nationals arriving by air. It records who you are, when you land, why you are visiting and where you will stay, so immigration has your details before you reach the counter. It is separate from your visa.
Yes. The card is a declaration, not permission to enter. You need a valid e-Visa or other Indian visa as well — unless you hold an OCI card, in which case you still need the card but not a visa.
Within 72 hours before your flight lands in India. Order early enough for your chosen processing speed to fit inside that window: Standard is guaranteed within 3 business days, Emergency within 2 business days, and Rush within 6 business hours.
Neither applies. The card covers the single arrival you declared and grants no entries and no period of stay — those come from your visa.
No. The card asks only for information: your passport details, arrival date, purpose of visit, address in India, contact details and the countries you visited in the last six days. There is nothing to scan or upload.
Contact us. The card is tied to the arrival date declared on it, so a changed date generally means a new card must be filed for the new arrival.
Yes. Every traveller needs their own e-Arrival Card on their own passport, whatever their age.
Any foreigner arriving in India within 6 days of departure from a Yellow Fever endemic country must carry a valid original Yellow Fever vaccination certificate on arrival. Without it, you may be quarantined for 6 days. This is why the card asks which countries you visited in the last six days.
Yes. Processing times are counted in business days and exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Indian public holidays. The clock starts once all your information has been provided correctly.
